In addition to the Gale Echo, a variety of other publications have served the Gale community over the years.  Click on any link or icon below to read the document described.

THE GALE BOOK was the forerunner to the Gale Echo and was published every month or two as needed throughout the school year.  The Gale Book became the Gale Echo in 1938. (See the GALE ECHO ARCHIVE page for the story of the Gale Echo.)

THE PATROL NEWS was published by the Chicago Motor Club to promote traffic safety and the school safety patrol.  This issue features a photo with names of the Gale safety patrol.

THE GALE NEWS was published as a hobby by an individual student in the 1950s.

THE MIDWEEK NEWS 1963 was published by an entire class (room 310 in 1963) to raise funds for class projects.

THE MIDWEEK NEWS 1964 was published by an entire class (Room 308 in 1964) to raise funds for class projects.

THE GALE ZEPHYR (Sept 1942)  was the newsletter of the Gale PTA.
