History
- The Gale Book became the
Gale Echo in 1938. From 1938 until the mid-1940's, the Gale
Echo was published at least twice a year and sometimes more often. After that, only a single issue was published
each semester, one in either January or February for the first
semester graduating class and the other in June for the second
semester graduates. Beginning with 1964, semesters were eliminated
and graduations were held only in June; consequently, only one Gale
Echo was published each year (the June issue). The Gale Echo ceased
publication in the mid-1990s, but recently there has been some
interest in bringing it back.
